Tweedy-Bird-Loc-Was-Born - On This Date In Hip Hop

April 3, 2020 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Kelly Park Crip and Banging on Wax member Richard “Tweedy Bird Loc” Johnson died of a heart attack. He was 52 years old.

Johnson was a childhood friend of Eazy-E. They would beef and later reconcile with each other before Eazy died.

Tweedy Bird Loc, Ronnie Phillips and Redrum 781 helped create what became known as the Banging on Wax project and Eazy-E wasn’t the only target of his disses. Tweedy Bird Loc also dissed KRS-One, Tim Dog and Uncle Luke on wax.
