September 7, 1996 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, at 11:15pm West Coast time, 2pac Shakur was shot multiple times while seated in a Black BMW with Suge Knight. He was reportedly hit 4 times with 40 caliber rounds from a Glock. RIP 2pac
