January 3, 2014 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, G-Unit rapper Jamal Mazaradi Fox Green was gunned down while seated in a vehicle in Queens.

The Shooting

Mazaradi Fox, whose real name was Jamal Green, was an American rapper associated with the hip-hop collective G-Unit. The incident occurred while Mazaradi Fox was sitting in a vehicle with several others. Gunmen approached and opened fire, resulting in Fox’s death and injuries to others present in the car.

The Motive

Fox was ALLEGEDLY shot by the brother of one of Fox’s alleged murder victims — 16 YEARS LATER. It’s said that Fox had allegedly ordered one of his lil homies to shoot Curtis Scott on July 7th 1998 but he was never convicted. The victim’s brother, Jamal Scott, was arrested for Fox’s murder but was released without being charged.
