March 25, 1974 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Outsidaz member Slang Ton was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born, Salih Ibn Al Bayyinah Scaife, Slang Ton would relocate to New Jersey and become a member of the Refugee Camp affiliated Outsidaz.
There’s not much on the internet about Slang Ton but I do want to celebrate his life as it was prematurely cut short in 1999 when he was shot in Newark. RIP Slang Ton
