January 19, 1992 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mac Miller would grow up to: (1) devote his life to Hip-Hop at the age of 15, (2) teach himself the piano, guitar, drums and bass, (3) have dreams of being a singer, (4) become a member of The iLL Spoken, (5) be influenced by Big L, Lauryn Hill, Beastie Boys, Outkast and ATCQ, (6) release 5 albums and 11 mixtapes – one of which (KIDS) got him sued for 10 MILLION by Lord Finesse, (7) produce under the alias #LarryFisherman, (8) feud with #DonaldTrump and (9) unfortunately die of a drug related overdose at the age of 26.
