February 02, 2003 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Ricky Hitman Herd of RBL Posse was shot and killed while driving in the Bayview/Hunters Point district of San Fransisco. This would be the 2nd time that Hitman was shot the first being in the leg in 2001. He was the 2nd member of the RBL Posse to be shot to death. Mr. Cee was shot and killed in 1996.
On This Date In Hip-Hop, it is being reported that Bow Wow was arrested for ALLEGEDLY roughing up a female in Atlanta.
On This Date In Hip-Hop, Dominick The Jacka Newton was shot and killed in Oakland by an unknown gunman as he rapped in a van with his homies.

February 02, 2005 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Tray Deee was sentenced to 12 years for attempted murder stemming from a 2003 shooting where he targeted his enemigos. The Long Beach Insane Crip would end up serving 9 of those years.
