September 7, 1964 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Eric “Eazy-E” Wright was born in Compton, California. Eazy-E would grow up to: (1) drop out of school in the 10th grade, (2), stand on the corner slanging rocks, (3) found Ruthless Records, (4) become a member of NWA, (5) not want to be quoted especially when he ain’t say nothin’, (6) release 2 solo albums, (7) discover Bone Thugs N Harmony, (8) beef with Death Row, (9) be on the radio, (10) have his own day in Compton, (11) affiliate with the Kelly Park Compton Crip gang and (12) be buried in a gold casket.
