I used to have an MPC1000, and an SP1200. I got tired of having to flip floppy’s & not having the memory to sample the way i wanted. When Maschine came out i went BONKERS.
I can do stuff in that program that takes forever to do in programs like Ableton and Logic. its all preference of course, but i feel that my familiarity makes the workflow much faster. plus having a harddrive with all the samples…. hard to go back to a standalone situation.
since you’re using KRK monitors do you use anything else for a refrence?
KRK monitors have an enhanced low-end, as do Beats headphones. I went from them to ADAM because of the ‘flat response’. if you’re listening to those beats in a different setting and they have an abundance of low-end that’s why.
