Hard to compare. I have probably listened to GKMC more than Illmatic, but we’d have to see how GKMC feels years later. We also can’t deny the impact Illmatic had, people really consider it one of the greatest albums ever. I don’t think GKMC had that same effect.

All time Jay-z. Jay-z can flow in any style. Speed rap, club, mafioso, street, storytelling, you could even ask him if he tryna kick knowledge, he can literally do anything. Busta rhymes is the closest to that but I think Jay took it further.
