Thanks!😊 I actually “studied” Dutch in school yeeeears ago so I understood some of the lyrics, that surprised me.. Hahah! I like the sound of the Winnie& Feis track, just need to find the translation so i get all of the lyrics. Thanks you, Mr.

The winne and feis is actually crazy because they didn’t plan to be together for that session. But they both had planned a session with different studio’s on the same day. So they decided to go to both together. The other session is called: winne, feis – lijn 5 also a banger!

The 101barz session has al the lyrics in the comments on youtube, so it’s a little less hard to translate. I can always help ofcourse 🙏🏽

I liked the Italian one, close to French Hip-Hop.

I’ve never heard Pakistani before.. that was different. Very interesting to hear, thank you for that Mr.

Not a classic, more of a modern rap song but “Volando” by Lefty SM ( from Sonora Mexico) he’s probably one mexicos most popular rappers right now

Por tus pujidos nos hallaron by Akwid — i think they’re from LA, but they rap in spanish. This beat in particular is a Mexican version of Slick rick’s children story instrumental. They pretty fire in spanish for Mexicans that are from the US Lol!

Canserbero – Es Épico 🔥🔥🔥 honestly this song is so good, a proper translation to English wouldn’t even do it justice. He is from Venezuela & is honestly one of the hardest I ever heard. Whether the rap is in English or not, this guy was a true definer of hip hop. Rest in peace 🔥

Akwid- way toooo much happening in those 4 minutes for my brain to enjoy.

Canserbero- So I did try translate it to English, I really really like the lyrics even tho it probably isn’t 90% or even 80 😏. It’s a lot of words and I probably got half of it but it got me interested enough to listen and read trough the translation three times.

      Thank you sir!

Polish Hip-Hop classics, my top 5:

    1. Grammatik – Nie ma czasu pomyśleć (track about people choosin fast life and material things over simple, truly meaningful life. Probably the best polish group representing conscious hip-hop)

    2. Pezet/NOON – Re-fleksje (best polish duo MC/Producer, this one is about people who stick with us only when we are successful)

    3. Molesta – Wiedziałem że tak będzie (simple, but magical track about life of young polish people from the projects. First album of this group was probably the first legal fully polish rap album without copying styles from the States)

    4. WWO – W Wyjątkowych Okolicznościach (polish street, but conscious trio (2 rappers, 1 DJ), amazing track which talks about love vs money. They’re rappin about a girl who had rich parents, but didn’t experience love and a man who was born poor and wanted to get money without seeing love from his family members)

    5. Fisz – Bla Bla Bla (Fisz (read the same as fish) was more of an abstract rapper, Mos Def inspired for sure, but have so many amazing tracks with his brother Emade as a producer. This one is from his debut album, when he was really a rapper (now went into more rock sound) and is talking about how we, people, don’t talk with each other. We talk only about parties or money, but not how we are feeling etc.)

This is like my top 5 (hard to choose only 5 haha) tracks from polish golden era of hip hop (1995-2005), I hope You enjoy, peace from Poland!

Ah, if i only would’ve known this a few weeks ago when I was walking the streets of Gdańsk- the music would’ve hit different. Also, thank you for taking your time and writing what each track is about- very appreciated.

Grammatik- I liked everything about that one, it reminded me of Scandinavian Hip-Hop.

      Molesta wasn’t bad either.

      Thank you!

Damn, I hope that You’ll really listen to these tracks while being in Poland again. It would probably be like when I’ve listened to the US classics while being in London (never had a chance to be in NY, but London looked like streets of Brooklyn to me in some places haha), truly amazing experience.

Btw if I remember, in Gdańsk EWC was formed, East West Connection – legendary, hardcore polish graffiti crew.

Anyway, I’m glad that You liked these, good to know how Hip-Hop connects people worldwide, peace! 🙂

موزیک ویدیو “فال” از توماج – YouTube

This is Toomaj, an Iranian rapper who´s been figting for the people and against the regime through his music for a long time. The translation of the lyrics in this video doesnt´t really do it justice cuz the way he plays with words is much more poetic than the translation suggests, however, you get a taste of what he´s saying and what he stands for. As im writing this he´s either being tortured beyond belief or he´s already dead. He got kidnapped two days ago by the who*es who call themselves the “morality police” and nobody knows where he is or if he´s alive. With all this being said- I just want you to know his name.
