1998 I heard Hit Em Up and my brain exploded and then It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot Dropped and I became a student of the culture.

Busta Rhymes – The Coming
Pharaohe Monch – Internal Affairs
Mos Def – Black on Both Sides
-
Jay Z Vol 2
Curren$y weekend at burnies
Nipsey Hussle Mailbox Money
They all had pivotal moments in my life

Cypress hill black Sunday I remember the first I listened to the album whole on my walk man I had it on cassette back in the 8th grade so around 2015 and I listened to it over and over sometimes I would forget it was on and my Walkman would run out of battery

Nas – illmatic
Mobb Deep – Murda Muzik (this and illmatic were the first USA albums that I bought, hit me hard with so many emotions as a teenager, great memories.)
Madvillain – Madvillainy (completely changed my view of a hip hop production and rhyming, abstract fever)
Public Enemy – Fear of a Black Planet (after ~30 years this album is still shocking how strong music can be a voice of struggled people, amazing till this day)
