It’s honestly the beat. I love Quik but it’s just not a good match.
-
Over time this grew on me but I definitely understand your pick. It didn’t mesh well like the rest of the album.

Retired Rapper // “Fuck Em All”
A song like that to such a masterpiece of an album, definitely wasn’t needed. Could’ve put that shit on No Love Lost. Not saying that All Love Lost isn’t an alright album because of that song, but it just wasn’t needed on their.

To me it’s usually the “commercial hit”. Lighters off of bad meets evil stuck out like a sore thumb
-
But Royce “only been so quiet cuz he been spending that lighters money”

Kurupt – Tequilla.
That chorus is grating. Beat sounds sloppy compared to the rest of the album.
-
That’s because your supposed to “get your drink on……get your smoke on……” while listening to it.

Take “No Mediocre” off Paperwork by T.I.

I fw cole but bruh damn near wasted the only hov verse he ever got 🤦🏾♂️
-
This is true and then reciprocated to the max on “Star is Born” on BPIII
-
Izzo, Jigga that nigga and Hola Hovito off Blueprint
S.Carter and Pop 4 Roc off Life + Times Vol 3
-
Do you not like the beat on Izzo, or do you think the song is just played out?

Barry Bonds off Graduation. That song is a skip on every re-listen to that album. Nothing to do with Wayne, I just cant stand that fucking instrumental.
-
You rather Barry Bonds over Drunk and Hot Girls? Drunk and hot girls was some BS
-
nah i feel you I didnt fuck with Drunk and Hot Girls for a minute, but that beat grew on me over the years
