January 26: The Gotti Brothers Surrender. (2005)

January 26, 2005 – On This Date In Hip-Hop, Irv Gotti and Chris. Gotti surrendered to the Feds. They were charged with laundering more than $1 million in drug proceeds through their record label. They would both plead NOT GUILTY and were released after a million dollar bond was posted. The Murder Inc. brothers would beat the case later that year.
